Hemorrhoids are bulges in the intestinal wall around the rectum. They cause itching, discomfort, leakage and most of us probably want to get rid of our hemorrhoids. Lowering pressure in the gastrointestinal tract and rectum with Ayurveda It is important that the stool is soft and for this reason, plenty of fluid intake and a high fiber diet is needed. For the fiber intake, it is important to give up ready meals, increase the vegetable portion of the portion and also add fiber such as crispbread, psyllium seed husk or basil seeds/tulsi seeds. Then it is very important to have regular bowel movements and to avoid foods that cause bloating or gas. In Ayurveda, there is no better cure for the gut than Triphala, a combination of three fruits that help activate the entire gastrointestinal tract and provide regularity and better metabolism. However, sometimes the intestines need extra help, and Ayurveda has a cure to literally lubricate the intestines and make them more permeable, Castor Oil. You take 1 tablespoon of oil about 1-2 times a week and swallow it, with warm water if it feels uncomfortable. The oil is not absorbed in the intestines but its consistency slowly goes through the intestines and lubricates them. Lowering the pressure in the veins with Ayurveda This pressure is of course affected by both how full the intestines are but also by the basic stress that the body is in. It cannot be said enough times that the number of impressions and stressors that people face in everyday life today is almost 10 times what has been experienced by people historically. Underlying stress causes the body to prepare itself with, among other things, higher blood pressure, all around the body. It is therefore very important to be able to relax, find a form of relaxation that helps you unwind. In addition, there is a mixture of herbs from the Himalayas, Pilex, which focuses precisely on the venous pressure in the vessels around the rectum. It is available both as a topical ointment and as a food supplement. See related products to this blog article further down on this page.
