According to Ayurvedic principles, we harvest the plants only once a year, exactly when the pigments reach their highest strength. Khadi Henna, Amla, and Jatropha are the ideal choice for anyone who wants to combine a permanent, intense color experience with natural care without harmful chemicals – and we guide you step by step: Wash your hair thoroughly in advance with a certified natural shampoo, preferably Khadi DeepCleanse Shampoo. Mix henna, amla, and jatropha powder with warm water at 27–37 degrees until it becomes creamy and all powder particles are fully dissolved. Let the cream cool for a while. Now you can apply it evenly, strand by strand, with a brush or with your hands (preferably use closed gloves and ideally upside down in the shower or over the bathtub). If you only want to color your roots, avoid the lengths and tips. Leave the color on for between 60 and 120 minutes. The longer it stays on, the darker the color result will be. If you have already colored with this shade and just want to refresh your color, leave the color in your hair for 15 to 30 minutes. Rinse the herbal hair color with clean water after the processing time. Please avoid shampooing for 24 to 48 hours so that the full depth of your shade develops during this time. Aftercare tips: Use Khadi ColorFinish Conditioner immediately after rinsing out the color with water to wash away any remaining color particles and make combing easier. After the processing time, rinse your hair thoroughly again with lukewarm water. Tips for a perfect finish: Before your first hair wash after 24–48 hours, we recommend locking in the pigments in your hair color with Khadi ColorCare Hair Oil. This way, your Khadi shade will last much longer and the color depth will be enhanced. To do this, distribute the oil evenly in your hair and leave it on for at least 20 minutes.
