Khadi Mahogany is the perfect choice for anyone who wants to combine a permanent, intense color experience with natural care without harmful chemicals – and we guide you step by step: Wash your hair thoroughly beforehand with a naturally proven shampoo, preferably Khadi DeepCleanse Shampoo. Mix the mahogany powder with 21–27 degree warm water until it becomes creamy and all powder particles are completely dissolved. Apply the cream with a brush or with your hands (feel free to use the included gloves and preferably upside down in the shower or over the bathtub) evenly and strand by strand. If you only want to color your roots, avoid the lengths and tips. Let the color stay on for between 60 and 120 minutes. The longer it stays on, the darker the color result will be. If you have already colored with this shade and just want to refresh your tone, let the color sit in your hair for 15 to 30 minutes. Rinse the herbal hair color with clean water after the exposure time. Please avoid shampooing for 24 to 48 hours so that the full color depth of your shade can develop during this time. Aftercare tip: Use Khadi ColorFinish Conditioner right after rinsing the color with water to wash away any remaining color particles and make it easier to comb. After the exposure time, rinse your hair thoroughly again with lukewarm water. Tip for a perfect finish: Before your first hair wash after 24–48 hours, we recommend fixing the pigments in your hair color with Khadi ColorCare Hair Oil. This way, your Khadi shade lasts much longer and the color depth is enhanced. To do this, distribute the oil evenly in your hair and leave it in for at least 20 minutes.
