Specification Scientific name: Citrus aurantium dulcis Plant part: Shell/ Skin/ peel Country of origin: Italy Uses Mainly used in oil or wax based skin care products. It has an astringent effect. It helps to retain moisture and increases regeneration in the skin with presence of rich amount of carotene. The oil can be used in skin/massage/bath oil for its warming and mind refreshing properties. The fragrance really stands for SUN, light and warmth and is an obvious choice in the aroma lamp during the dark winter months. it has has a calming effect at the same time as it has an uplifting effect, gives sun and joy to the mind and can be a support for depression, stress and anxiety. Cooking:-You can also flavour dessert, Cake, ice cream, honey, panna cotta, fromage etc with few drops of this fine oil! Note -Always used diluted. Should never be used in large amounts on the skin, as it can have a drying effect. Orange oil does not make the skin sensitive to light like other citrus. -Orange oil is sensitive to oxidation due to its content of limonene (90%) and should be used up within 1-2 years. After the bottle is opened, it should be stored in a refrigerator.
