In the ancient Vedic scriptures, Jala Neti is described as daily cleansing of the nasal area using a nasal cleansing pot. It is a very effective method to relieve common irregularities in the nose. The Jala Neti procedure helps to correct imbalances and helps to maintain youthfulness.
Instructions for use: Fill the nasal cleansing jug with warm, lightly salted water. Avoid iodized salt and use natural salt without additives, such as Himalayan crystal salt or pure sea salt. The salt concentration should be around 1% (i.e. 2.5 g salt per 1/4 liter of water). Insert the spout of the nasal cleansing canister into one of the nostrils. Adjust the head and the nasal irrigator so that the water flows out of the other nostril. Breathe relaxed through your mouth during the procedure. The technique is not as difficult or uncomfortable as you might first think. You will be pleasantly surprised by this simple and effective health method. Once learned, the exercise can be done in about 3 minutes and easily integrated into a daily body cleaning routine, such as showering or brushing your teeth.
