Description
Shungite is a black and lustrous mineraloid that was first described from a deposit near Shunga village, in Karelia, Russia, from where it gets its name.
Amongst ancient cultures, shungite was said to be used to treat allergies, skin diseases, diabetes mellitus, stomatitis, periodontal disease, hair loss, cosmetic flaws, and many other diseases.
Shungite has been used as a folk medical treatment since the early 18th century.

Use
Place the shungite pyramid in the place where you spend the most time: at the computer, at the workplace, near the bed. It can be placed near devices that emit electromagnetic radiation: for example, your computer, TV, mobile phone, refrigerator or microwave as well.
For best effect, the shungite pyramid should be placed at a slightly lower level than the source of the radiation and arranged according to the cardinal directions. Orient the smooth sides to the north, east, south, west. For exact placement, please use a compass.

Care
Being carbon rich, pure shungite blackens in the beginning. To remove the coal dust, rinse the item under clean lukewarm water and wipe it with a cotton cloth. Repeat if the blackness persists.
To recharge the Shungite, rinse it in lukewarm water, use incense (Palo Santo, Salvia) so that the incense moves around the Shungite, and then place it outdoors in the sun or moonlight for a couple of hours. The recharging usually needs to be done once a month depending on how much the Shungite needs to handle.
