Description:
Traditional Ayurvedic herbal purees (lehams) are among the most popular Ayurvedic products. They are considered Rasayanas - Ayurvedic tonics (not scientifically proven).
The main active ingredient Ashvagandha, Brahmi or Shatavari is prepared with raw cane sugar, ghee, usually honey and a number of Ayurvedic herbs and spices to form a tasty, jam-like paste.
According to classical Ayurveda, a leham is authentic only if the main ingredient is supported in its Ayurvedic effect by other herbs and spices.
Dosage:
Take 2 x 1 tsp, 6 g each, plain or with a little milk daily. The daily intake contains 2.28 g of Shatavari and 27.24 mg of polyphenols. The stated recommended daily allowance should not be exceeded. Food supplements should not be used as a substitute for a balanced and varied diet.
Contains licorice - excessive consumption of this product should be avoided if you have high blood pressure
