Description:
The production facility of our Chyavanprash is located near the city of Pune in India, in the district of Maharashtra. Govinda pays special attention to the fact that our Chyavanprash is produced and traded here according to ancient tradition, the Ayurvedic recipe and under strict guidelines.
Knowledgeable herbalists work hand in hand with local farmers and procure the appropriate ingredients fresh every day. First, the spices, herbs and amla fruits are mixed with crystallized cane sugar dried in the sun. A grinder crushes and kneads it all. To obtain a durable emulsion mass, the mixture is boiled for a certain time. Once the mass has cooled, it is hung in nettle cloth to drain. After 24 hours, the excess juice has dripped out, the porridge-like mixture is now stirred and finally filled into wooden barrels made of the finest mango wood.
